70 Years of Innovation: The Zodiac Sea Wolf Diver ZO9217. Seventy years ago, Zodiac made waves in the dive watch world with the release of the Sea Wolf Diver. Powered by the Caliber 70-72 automatic movement and equipped with a snap-on case back featuring a “20 ATM” gasket marked “Especially Water Tested,” the Sea Wolf quickly became a favorite among divers.

The innovative sealing system, paired with a thick, domed acrylic crystal and an extended crown, made the Sea Wolf the first true tool diver’s watch, with a water resistance of up to 660 feet. Today, the Super Sea Wolf Skin Diver ZO9217 has been modernized with Zodiacs advanced Super-LumiNova, but it retains the iconic shark tooth hour markers and compact, sub-40mm design that inspired a generation of adventurers to explore the open water.

Featuring 200M of water resistance , the Super Sea Wolf ZO9217 is complemented by a pin-buckle stainless steel clasp blue tropic rubber strap, a blue textured dial with 4 shark tooth markers in white with Super-LumiNova hands and markers and a black bezel.

The Zodiac Watch ZO9217 features a 39mm Stainless Steel case and a lug-width of 20mm. The glass is Sapphire crystal. The ZO9217 features a solid caseback. This timepiece has a water resistance rating of 200m.

The crown is screw lock with the Zodiac watch logo. At the heart of the ZO9217 is the STP1-11 automatic movement, which is a Swiss-made caliber offering solid reliability. This movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 44-hour power reserve, ensuring consistent performance even if the watch isnt worn for a couple of days. The movement features an hour, minute and a sweep second hand and a stop second hand function.

Each Zodiac watch is meticulously hand-assembled in Biel-Bienne, Switzerland, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship. Due to the intricate, time-intensive process, each model is produced in small-batches with limited quantities. Once a style sells out, it wont be available again until the Zodiac watchmakers craft a new batch.
